Baling Silage
In agriculture field, baling silage is a very common technology of volume reduction. The forage silage technology is to silage the chopped forage under the condition of seal and hypoxia, and then let it ferment and keep the forage juicy, and keep it long time stock.
What is the advantages of baling silage?
There are many advantages of silage baling. For example, it can increase the utilization value of the forage, and reduce field losses and nutrition losses. When baling and ensilaging the forage at the right time and right moisture content (approx. 45-55%), the nutrition loss will be only around 10%; while during natural trying process, the nutrition loss will be around 30%, and even worse, the loss will be much bigger if encountering bad whether like rainy or snowy. Good quality silage could provide high feed quality to animals. When choosing forage for bale silage, you should choose good quality forage as well. The silage after fermentation, the lactic acid will be produced during the process. The speed of fermentation needs to be quicker because the quicker it completes, the more stable the silage will be and the more nutrients will be retained in the silage which is better for animals.
It is very essential to produce dense bales of silage, and a high-pressure baling system is good to be used. Because the silage needs to be kept in stock for long time, high dense bale is better for long time storage. And also the bagging or wrapping of the bale should be as soon as possible after the bale is produced because delaying of this process might cause the fermentation become slower.
What is the ideal baler machine to bale silage?
Sinobaler baling and bagging system is ideal for producing silage bales. It can compress the original loose forage into dense bale and bag the bale immediately when the bale is produced, and the bag can be sealed by a sealing machine once after the bale is bagged.
