Open End Baler Machine
For single-ram horizontal balers, you can have either open end baler or closed end baler for different choices. An open-end single-ram extrusion baler can compress and squeeze baling materials through a long extrusion chamber. The subsequent bales are made by pushing material up against the back of the forward bale. Closed-end baler can compress baling materials into baling chamber and against a door. Then you should tie off the bales manually. Finally chamber door opens and release pressure to move forward the bale. So these two balers have quite different production capacity due to these different structure designs. But both machines have their place in the market. Just find your good reason to invest them.
Open end baler vs Closed end baler
Generally speaking, closed end baler has lower baling capacity while open end baler can achieve a higher production. So you can choose the right machine based on your individual capacity requirement. It is better to consider in a longer term. Otherwise, you many regret soon after the purchase when you have higher production requirement.
Open end baler is fully automatic in tying and twisting. But closed-end baler uses manual tie-off system. So the working efficiency is quite different.
Both balers can create square, exact and dense bales. But closed-end baler does better job since it has closed baling chamber.
Both balers are good at bale paper, cardboard, plastic film, plastic bottles and UBCs. So the application is quite wide in range.
