EPS Block Making Machine
What is EPS?
EPS can be Expanded Polystyrene or Extruded Polystyrene. It is a lightweight closed cell insulation with endless applications. EPS and styrofoam are not the same thing. Actually styrofoam is only the trademark term for closed-cell extruded polystyrene foam made for thermal insulation and craft applications. However, EPS can be any form of expanded polystyrene and has many benefits. So it is widely used as insulation for walls, foundations, roofing and packaging. When EPS foam products become scrap, recycling is the ideal solution for EPS products. Luckily, EPS can be recycled.
EPS block making machine in EPS recycling
Since EPS takes up a lot of space and its light weight makes it easily swept away in the wind or water, it makes transportation and handling costly. It is quite necessary to find a solution to reduce its size and make it heavier. As such, EPS block making machine is the right size reduction machine to achieve these two objectives. This machine compresses low density EPS into high density blocks. It saves much cost and time to transfer scrap EPS products to recycling center for waste recycling.
EPS block making machine in SINOBALER
SINOBALER has two options for your EPS size reduction. A single foam baler can compress scrap EPS foam products into dense bales. However, a foam shredding and compacting plant can shred EPS size into particles and then compress these particles into blocks. So the final density is much higher than a single foam baler. Also this system can make blocks directly, so strapping is not needed in this case. But single foam baler need additional strapping for final bales. Of course, if you have any baling or size reduction requirements, please do not hesitate to contact SINOBALER for assistance. Our professional team will find the best suitable solution based on your individual case within one working day.
