This open-end manual-tie horizontal baler with wire threader has all functions that a fully automatic horizontal baler only except for the auto-tying mechanism. Although tying has to be done manually, wire/belt threading can be automatically pushed into the strapping slots by the threading mechanism installed on this machine, while a normal manual-tie horizontal baler doesn’t have such threading mechanism. Comparing between a fully automatic baler and this semi-automatic baler of same pressure force and same chamber size, productivity of this machine is more or less 20% less. However, a very big advantage of this machine compared to a fully automatic baler is that is the tying material is completely flexible but not limited to steel wire only. You can use steel wire, PET belt, plastic rope, hemp rope etc. to tie the bales.
For production facilities that have large volume of solid waste internally generated and thus require efficient way of baling the waste or for middle-scale recycling facilities, this series baler is very suitable choice. It is much more efficient than a normal manual-tie baler and meanwhile is very labor-saving. In addition, the cost is not as high as a fully automatic baler, which is helpful for recyclers who don’t have sufficient budget to invest on a fully automatic baler. Besides, this series machine is ideal choice for plants of animal bedding and feeding material to compress their fluffy material, because they usually require plastic tying for the bales but not steel wire so as to make sure the bales have zero containing of sharp ferrous items that can hurt the animal.
The machine can handle almost all types of solid waste, including paper, cardboard, plastic, film, fiber, etc. However, due to the open-end(exit) design, we do not much recommend it handling plastic bottles & containers because the bales produced by this machine will not be so dense for these high rebounding products. The ideal for handling these material is a close-end baler.
